Government considers replacing 'turn in the road' manoeuvre with 'more
realistic' skills, such as reversing out of parking bay, in learner driving
test shake-up.
The dreaded three-point turn could become a thing of the past after the Government signalled the biggest shake-up to the driving test in 20 years.
Learners may be asked to use a satellite navigation system as part of a
revised practical exam, while the three-point-turn - more recently known as
the "turn in the road" - could be scrapped altogether.
